nVidia Driver on FC12

There is a driver issue preventing nVidia driver being installed or started. The solution is to add "nomodeset" at the kernel line when booting. Or add it to /etc/grub.conf. If problem still exists, add "vmalloc=190M" to the kernel line as well.

Quad-Buffer stereo on Dell Precision M50

The graphics card on this machine is nVidia Quadro4 700 Go GL. nVidia doesn't provide a driver for this card at all. The only place to get a drive is from Dell. The Dell driver has no control whatsoever. The good news is that RivaTiuner (http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?page=rivatuner) can turn this feature on.

The only problem I found so far is that the stereo is not very stable, left and right image may flip from time to time...

I believe this tool can be used on other nvidia cards too.
