Microwave's Door Interlock Switch Issue

This is about a Kenmore microwave, other brands are similar.

The problem: Whenever the door is opened the microwave spins and it seems that it is cooking.

The reason: One of the interlock switch needs adjustment or is broken.

To fox:

1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Open the cover.
3. Looking for 3 interlock switches behind the control panel.
4. Adjust the screws to make sure the gaps between the door latches and the switches are less than 0.5mm.
5. If it still has the problem, check the switches with a multimeter. Replace them if needed.
